The SWOT analysis of our Center, presented below, has been shared with our internal and external stakeholders, and feedback has been received as attached. Accordingly, feedback was received from one internal and one external stakeholder. Emails were sent to internal stakeholders, including the Child Education Application and Research Center, the Gifted Education Application and Research Center, and the Mentally Disabled Children Application and Research Center. Based on the evaluation by our internal stakeholder, the Child Education Application and Research Center, our assessment is as follows.
According to the internal stakeholder's feedback, the lack of a physical space dedicated to the Center was identified as a weakness of the internal environment. Our Center addresses this weakness by utilizing the physical space of ÇABAÇAM and the offices of the faculty members involved in the Center's management.
Regarding the opportunities and threats of the external environment, one area for improvement identified by our internal stakeholder is the increasing importance given to community-university cooperation. Additionally, the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan, prepared with the qualified feedback of all internal and external stakeholders of our university, is considered a significant opportunity for our Center. The threat identified by our internal stakeholder as "the restrictive and slowing nature of bureaucracy" is expected to be overcome with the developmental support provided by our university's Quality Improvement and Institutional Monitoring Coordination Office. Furthermore, the Centers Monitoring and Evaluation Coordination Office, which regulates the activities of the application and research centers, also contributes in a regulatory, developmental, and supportive role.
